I am a faculty member at the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, Islamic University of Technology (IUT), Bangladesh. My research interest lies in Software Engineering, especially software repository mining, software evolution, code clone and software refactoring. I also have interest on exploring collaborative sites like stack overflow to assist developers collaboratioin and development activities.
In IUT, I teach fundamental courses of Sofware Engineering programme, including Object Oriented Programming, Software Requirements Specification, Software Design and Architecture, Software Metrics etc. Apart from teaching, I am a member of industry academia collaboration of CSE department, which regulates internship of students, as well as conducts workshop, seminars with tech people. Moreover, I along with a few colleagues run SELab, a research lab which conducts research on SE with undergraduate students.
Before working as a faculty member, I pursed my Master of Science (MSc.) and Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Software Engineering from the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), University of Dhaka (DU), Bangladesh. I was a member of DSSE Research Group, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. Kazi Muheymin-Us-Sakib.
